Meet Jerry.

Jerry is only 6 months old, but his little body has already been through far more than any puppy should have to face.

Jerry came to PRFG when it became clear he had serious mobility issues and he was no longer profitable to his breeder. Our medical team quickly began working to understand what was causing his weakness and difficulty walking. He was evaluated by multiple vets and specialists including a neurologist and underwent an MRI, which confirmed spinal cord compression caused by congenital vertebral malformation.

In simple terms, Jerry was born with abnormalities in his spine that are putting pressure on his spinal cord. This affects his ability to walk and move normally. His case is complicated, and we are still working with specialists to determine what options may be available to help him.
